Happy New Year - 2010

This is the view from the deck of my new home. In view is the Maxi Yacht "Loyal" sailing towards the finish line for the Sydney - Hobart Yacht Race, finished in 4th place. Loyal had some stars on board sailing for their first time - Larry Endmur, Danny Green and Grant Hackett.

Box in a Bag

Hi there,
I have been very slack at blogging. Lots of excuses .... children have been sick which has taken most of my time, still studying my Cert IV and moving house in 2 weeks. I will attempt to blog again before the move; however, will not promise as things are quite busy with moving and still have workshops booked.
The fantastic new Spring Mini Catalogue has arrived and yes "I want it all". Lucky for me I am an Independant Demonstrator and can buy these lovely new products at discount. If you are interested in joining my team please e-mail sharon.walsh12@yahoo.com.au
Cheers for now.

Friendly Words

This lovely little pouch gift box was simple to make. I printed the template straight onto Whisper White cardstock (A4), cut to size, rolled with Jumbo Handle + Jumbo Wheel Friendly Words. This is a gorgeous wheel in Shelli's Signature Collection. I saw this demonstrated at Convention and just had to have it. I have rolled the wheel over the Close to Cocoa stamp Pad, embellished the front with the beautiful stamp set Echoes of Kindness - Level 2 set in Pretty in Pink + Certainly Celery. I made these little gift pouches for each of my team members in Credere Stampers. Inside I placed a Stampin' Up! pen and some individually wrapped choclates. It is just a little sweet gift to my lovely downline members. I also, added a copy of the notes I typed from Convention. I appreciate all the work that my wonderful team do with workshops and sales.

Well done to all my lovely team members Di, Karen, Dani, Helen, Meegan, Lisa and Deborah who work so hard to remain active in Stampin' Up! demonstratorship.

Urban Garden

Hello,

I hope you like this little project I have just completed. I have been busy completing unfinished projects, this is one that I changed the DSP from my original idea. I used the sanding block to smooth out the rough edges. I have used the On Board Art Journal, Urban Garden DSP, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White cardstock. I stamped using Live Your Dream stamp set, sponging on the edges. The ribbon I have used is 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Baja Breeze, the ribbon is from the stamp set You & Moi which I received for my Leadership Award at Convention in Canberra. So excited, I have lots of lovely new stamp sets. Yes, you may notice I used the Live Your Dream stamp set, which is retired but it just looked good for this project. I love all the stamps I have purchased, earned from rewards and gifted for achievements.

Look forward to the next blog. Sharon

Fifth Avenue Floral

Hello everyone,

This is the card I have created for the May 2009 Swap, using new stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral. I won for this stamp set at Convention in Prize Patrol - how lucky am I. Just ask me, I will tell you over and over again, I was so excited to win this stamp set, which was on my wish list. I loved it so much, I promplty purchased the beautiful matching umbrella. Yes, addicted to SU and all the lovely products. The DSP that I have used are Urban Garden and Bella Rose. The cardstock is Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla. I have also used the beautiful little stamp from the Best Yet Level 1 Hostess Set. I have used the Oval punch and Scallop Edge punch. Of course, I have used 2-way glue + glitter, which I seem to use in every project!

Cheers for now. Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you. Sharon
