Fifth Avenue Floral

Hello everyone,

This is the card I have created for the May 2009 Swap, using new stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral. I won for this stamp set at Convention in Prize Patrol - how lucky am I. Just ask me, I will tell you over and over again, I was so excited to win this stamp set, which was on my wish list. I loved it so much, I promplty purchased the beautiful matching umbrella. Yes, addicted to SU and all the lovely products. The DSP that I have used are Urban Garden and Bella Rose. The cardstock is Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla. I have also used the beautiful little stamp from the Best Yet Level 1 Hostess Set. I have used the Oval punch and Scallop Edge punch. Of course, I have used 2-way glue + glitter, which I seem to use in every project!

Cheers for now. Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you. Sharon

Cherish Book

Hello,
Hope you have had a lovely weekend. Last week I posted a sign about my Cherish Books, but didn't post a photo. I have posted one today. This is one cute little Cherish Book, using stamp set Baroque Motifs, pretties kit, whisper white, mellow moss cardstock, hodgepodge hardware, hemp twine natural and from last Cataologue's range - DSP and chocolate satin ribbon. Inside are twenty 6" x 6" page protectors with whisper white card stock and trimmed with co-ordinating colours.

Thank you to the lovely people who leave a comment, it is nice of you to see what I do to share!
Looking forward to showing my next project. Bye for now, back in a few sleeps!

Sharon

3D Project

Hello, I apologise for not blogging last week. My little Brittany has been sick for 6 days, and I have done piles of washing! Brittany is now well again, and I just love seeing her smile again.

Today I went over to Meegan's house and had a lovely few hours with Meegan, Louise and Maree. We enjoyed stamping, coffee and chocolate. Meegan showed us how to make these cute little Flower Pot Slide cards. I have used Really Rust, Whisper White cardstock, stamped with Eastern Bloom stamp set in Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, Old Olive cardstock punched from 5 Petal Flower punch for leaves, Scallp Edge punch, Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, also used dimensionals to pop flowers and just a little stampin' glitter and 2-way glue.

It was so nice to go to Meegan's house and have everything organised for me. Usually, it is me preparing stamp projects for my team Credere Stampers. It was so nice to be the guest after a very busy week of domestic duties ..... with love of course! Thank you Meegan, much appreciated.

Cheers for now,

love Sharon xo

Convention 2009 - Flying Home!

This view is from my window seat flying Canberra to Hobart direct. It was so exciting, the pilot said "look outside your window, and it suggests that it will be a bumper snow season this year". This was a lot of snow for May ~ WOW! When I landed at Hobart, it was so lovely to cuddle my husband and daughters after a few days away with my passion of stamping interstate.

Convention 2009

I invited my friend Bronwyn to the Awards Dinner, to enjoy a girls night out. It was a great excuse for us to enjoy an evening meal with all the preparation done for us and no dishes to wash. What a lovely way for friends to catch up and chat. Bronwyn and I had not seen each other since leaving Katherine, N.T. I stayed with Bronwyn and her lovely family for the few days whilst in Canberra. We had the best time, chatting and laughing over many funny moments that we shared in our outback adventure. After dinner, we attended the Awards Recognition and it was so exciting. I received recognition for Leadership 2009 ~ thrilled to bits Woo Hoo!

Convention 2009

This is the afternoon of the day before Convention 2009. My friend Magaret said "Koko Black" is the chocoholic's delight! We enjoyed a sumptious feast of chocolate treats and had lots to talk about as we had not caught up with each for coffee for years since Katherine, N.T. You may notice that I am actually seen in public with no makeup. I had packed my makeup in my checked in luggage. When I flew into Melbourne from Hobart, the plan was to apply makeup and freshen up for flying Melbourne to Canberra. Well, I braved looking very tired, I was up at 3.30 am that morning to prepare for travel and flights to Canberra. I was so excited to be in Canberra for Convention.
